How to get there

From Montreal to Kangiqsujuaq

Kangiqsujuaq is the gateway to Parc national des Pingualuit. The airline companies First Air and Air Inuit offer scheduled service from Montreal, Quebec City and Ottawa to Kuujjuaq.

Air Inuit offers scheduled and charter flights from Kuujjuaq to Kangiqsujuaq.

From Kangiqsujuaq to the Parc national des Pingualuit

In Summer:

The park is generally accessed via charter air service. A landing strip is located at Lake Manarsulik, close to Pingualuit Crater and the park's full-service camps.

A 90-km land access corridor also connects Kangiqsujuaq to the park. The corridor is open to experienced trekkers. Full-service camps are situated roughly every 30 km apart.

In Winter:

The access corridor is open to back-country skiers, snowmobiles and dogsleds.
