From the community, the parc national Tursujuq team will take care of all the logistics for a tailor-made experience that lets you explore an extraordinary variety of the region’s panoramic vistas. The surrounding area is perfect for hiking, sea kayaking, fishing, and motor boating on the immense Tasiujaq Lake.

What is there to do once I’m there ?
HIKING
Several hikes are possible from the camp. The shores of Tasiujaq Lake are magnificent to walk along and your guides will advise you on the best routes depending on the weather conditions and your level of experience.

KAYAKING
You can borrow Park boats and life jackets to explore the area around Tasiujaq Lake. Please notify the Park team before you arrive so that a kayak can be made available to you over the weekend.

RELAX AND TAKE IN THE SIGHTS
Take the time to enjoy the breathtaking landscapes, the beach and the cuestas, while relaxing in the heart of nature. Marvel at the unique and abundant flora and fauna of Quebec’s Far North.

FISHING
For non-beneficiaries who would like to fish, make sure you have your provincial fishing licence with you prior to contacting the Park to obtain your Park’s permit. You must bring your own fishing gear. All catches (maximum 3) must be consumed on-site, except for a single catch which may be taken out of the Park.

How do I make a reservation ?
Weekend reservations can be made as of May 15 at 9 a.m. Reservations will be taken by telephone only, and a maximum of two places will be reserved per call. You can reach the Park at 819-331-7869. As we usually receive a large number of calls, the line may be busy! Our team will get back to you as soon as possible!
Accommodation
Our rustic camp have two buildings. The main building has a kitchen that opens onto the dining room. You’ll find a stove and refrigerator. This is also your guides’ camp.
The second cabin is a dormitory area that can accommodate from four to seven bunk beds. Dry toilets are located outside the buildings.
There is no running water, but your guides will make regular trips to supply you with fresh water for cooking, washing up, and drinking. Be sure to boil/treat your water before drinking. Before leaving home, we recommend that you contact our Park team to check whether the services and equipment you need are available.
